Hello,
I'm after a long lasting (12hour), pressed mineral powder foundation, that has an SPF of at least 20 and is affordable?? I'm after something that can just be brushed on in a hurry, which will protect my skin, look natural, lasts a fair while, and is compact.
I was in the cosmetics department the other day and the closest thing was a pressed powder. Grrr
Any help would be well appreciated. |

Have you looked at pur minerals? Keep in mind that mineral makeup is not reliable sun protection, you would have to wear it like a mask to get the SPF. |

Colorscience has some good stuff. I like the Orb. Not sure I would count on it for 12 hours of sun protection though. |

Thankyou for the suggestions girls Yes the sunscreen protection factor is important to me, I would like to feel as if i'm protecting my skin even if it's only by a fracton more than without it. Am really after something that can be brushed on quite quickly.
Any more advice from any of you knowledgeable forum members? |

Merle Norman pressed mineral foundation. It doesn't state the SPF on it but I'm sure it does have some protection as Zinc Oxide is the 2nd ingredient, then followed by Titanium Dioxide. |

I love the Shiseido sun block powder with SPF30. My skin has some acne scars and in the summer time I want something that covers them, makes the skin looking flawless and also having a high sunscreen. I found all this in the Shiseido powder foundation. I use this powder the whole year and nothing is comparable to this. I must alos mention that I have oily/mixed skin. It is not so convenient for dry skin. |
