I just use that Jolen stuff but have never tried anything else. If anyone has compared it with others, I'd be interested in hearing the differences as well.

I make very sure not to cleanse my face too vigorously beforehand... learned that the hard way. I also use a oil-free cleanser but seriously don't even press at all while cleansing. This way there's still a slight protective barrier on my skin, but the hairs are clean enough for the bleach to do its work.

What kind of hair bleach, for the facial hair or for the hair on your head?

For facial hair. But does bleach work on darker skin tones or will the hair still be obvious even after is has been bleached? I have a very tan complexion

Oh, well, since I cant see your skin tone, I would advise against it, only because there wont be much you can do after you have and it comes out wrong (although if you really want to, I recommend Veet) Would you ever consider investing in a home use hair removal machine?
