This is a review for Oxygenetix Foundation. Lycogel Foundation is being phased out and this is the new "breathable post-procedure healing foundation". If you can sit thru the cheezy InfoMercial, it explains:

http://www.oxygenetix.com/

Lycogel, if you've used it before, is drier and thicker but gives a great finish once it sets a few minutes. This is thinner and easier to spread and leaves the same lovely totally natural finish.

Does it "completely cover redness" ??? NO!! But its the nicest foundation for my skin ever. I apply it over my Pratima sunscreen not the Oxygenetix moisturizer and it still works, but it doesnt cover the dilated capillary that I hate. Still need a separate concealer. BTW Lycogel concealer is so not worth it....fugly orangey and doesnt really do the job anyway.

The color "Cream" works for my light/medium warm tone skin. "Beige" in Lycogel was a perfect match, but the colors dont correspond in the new Oxygenetix shades. "Beige" is too dark.

LovelySkin.com has samples and you can save 10% with Save10 discount code. $66 for 0.5 oz - more exxy than Sisley - but imo better.

Everyone who knows anything about this industry, knows that Oxygenetix is riding the coat tails of Lycogel. Sad but true.

Tried the old Lycogel and the "new" version. They aren't that great, certainly not what they advertise, which is preposterous, considering the price. If I was forced to choose, old Lycogel foundation was nicer, both for shades and texture. There are so many amazing foundations on market these days, this is just mediocre and overpriced, especially since it's only 15 ml, doesn't cover anything, literally, and settles into every creases, something that does not happen with other foundations, not even thick ones like EL Double Wear. Could as well indulge on La Prairie. They have better shades and similar skin improving complexes in them and they actually look flawless on skin. Each skin is different though, no fix for that.

One look at the ingredients:
Aloe Barbadensis Gel, Isododecane (and) Butylene/Ethylene/Propylene Copolymer, Titanium Dioxide (and) Methicone, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate (and) Cetyl Dimethicone Copolyol (and) Hexyl Laurate, Cyclopentsiloxane (and) PEG/PPG-20/15 Dimethicone, Saccharomyces Cerevisiae(Yeast) Extract, PEG-8, Dioctyldodecyl Dodecanedioate, Iron oxides (and) Methicone, Macadamia Integrifolia NutOil (and) Aleurites Moluccans (Kukui) Nut Oil, Butylene Glycol, 0-Cymen-5-OL, Silica, Cyclomethicone (and) Disteardimonium Hectorite (and)Propylene Carbonate, Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone /Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer

On side note, if someone wishes the healing Ceravitae yeast (which is the only truly remarkable thing about this foundation) on skin in proper concentration, but without the dreadful foundation, Diamedic sells serum and moisturizer and they are under $30.

Dunno about the ingredients but a foundation only has to make my skin look great, and this one does. Different things work on different people.

I don't get how you got to this? YOU obviously are one of those people who don't know the industry. I'm an aesthetician and I have used both products. BOTH were invented by the same person... So how can one person follow himself? Also I much prefer Oxygenetix I actually don't know a single doctor who doesn't use this product it is just soooooo much better than Lycogel.. In my professional opinion. Just sayin.

This thread is a zombie but since Lycogel was d/c'd I lost interest in this line. I dont wear anything with aloe in it d/t it sensitizing skin to UV damage. And I dont wear foundation at all anymore - its not needed now that my skin looks clear and even.

I agree. You can't gauge a foundation's performance by the ingredients. Unless someone is allergy to certain things or verifying sunscreen content.
