Hi everyone,

Newbie here so please bare with me (hope I've posted in the right section).

I am looking for recommendations for skin care products and have a criteria I'd like to meet.

1) non-comedogenic
2) Not tested on animals
3) No parabens and no mineral oils
4) preferably no perfume or if perfume in it as a last ingredient

My skin type is strange!! I have mild roseacea on my cheeks but recently had ipl done on it which has seen an improvement. I have breakouts once a month, I do have a few blackheads and lately my forehead has actually been quite clogged up. I also have quite a lot of wrinkles around my eyes and I'm in my mid 30's.

My skin care regime has been cleaning with a gentle wash off cleanser that is ph balanced and for sensitive skin although it's full of parabens so I'd prefer to get something else.
My moisturiser is for sensitive skin and has some kind of nut oil in. I also use the same one around my eyes.

Please help! as over the years I have spent thousands on everything from Estee lauder and Clinique to Aveno, Body Shop, Dermalogica etc and none have worked for me.

Thank you!

Checkout Paula's Choice I think all of her items are paraben free now. She is also anti-fragrance. Double check ingredients first though.

Have you tried this brand?

http://www.renskincare.com/c/facial-skincare_for-sensitive-skin

I don't have sensitive skin but I do have oily acne prone skin that gets easily congested. I've recently invested in a good few of their products (cleansers, masks, moisturizer, serums) I haven't used all of them yet as I'm taking my time to introduce them one by one, but so far I am really pleased with the performance of the products I've been using. Below is the statement about REN from their website, they seem to tick all the boxes of your requirements and a few more too.

We make Clean Products that are free from skin-unfriendly ingredients including: Synthetic fragrance, petrochemicals, sulfate detergents, synthetic colours, animal ingredients * and parabens. In addition, REN products do not contain potential irritants including: glycols and diglycols (such as propylene glycol), PEG's, PPGs, urea, D.E.A, T.E.A, PABA and other synthetic sunscreens, aliphatic alcohols/hydrocarbons, phthalates, fumarates, amines, alkanolamines, synthetic AHAs/BHAs, polyacrylamide, metacrylate, elastomer, poloxamer, styrene, vinyl, polyquaternium, synthetic chelating agents, nylon, nitriles, nitrates, nitrosamine releasers, bromates, fluor, aluminum and alumina etc.

Have you thought about going natural with your skincare products as there is a very affordable natural skin care line that is called Natural Instinct sold in Australia that meets the above criteria and is also very beneficial for the skin. I tend to DIY quite a bit but cannot go past some of the products in this line.

I love Juice Beauty products. I'm not sure if they tick all your boxes but they don't break me out and contain some amazing ingredients.
