I could not find any posts regarding the Claro IPL Home Device and thought to post one. Has anyone actually tried this device? Do you think it would be effective in treating rosacea? Below is the link...

Thanks in advance. |

Yes. I noticed there are a few auctions on eBay for the device and it uses a small dose of IPL which is great at treating Rosacea. |

For the right price, it might be worth it! I know that IPL is great for treating broken capillaries but I didn't know that it helped with rosacea. Of course, since this a device designed for home use, it obviously wouldn't be as effective as a treatment in a derm/plastic surgeon's office. |

Yes that's true. I have had great results from most of the devices available. I think it has allot to do with my age. I'm finding it hard not to marvel in the mirror and pull all sorts of different flattering faces at the moment
Thr price of a good IPL over here is around $400AUD so am considering getting this device and using it constantly until the results are desired. |

I don't think this would be helpful for rosacea because it also uses blue light and blue light is not effective for rosacea. |

Oh thank you, i didnt see that they said blue light which is only affective against acne. What color light would be affective for rosacea? |

I'm not sure. I have mild rosacea and its in control most of the time but I did notice that when I used my blue light on my cheeks it seems to aggravate my rosecea.
LightStim has a rosacea light thats a combo of red and blue, I don't know how it works though. |
