I'm so very curious!! The ADCE seems like a great deal! I spend $70 Canadian for the Vivier TMR (argirelene) and there aren't any added treatment ingredients (like in the ADCE)-- and I only get .5oz!!! What's the texture like as it goes onto your skin? Does it have"slip" or is it aqueous? How does your skin feel once it has penetrated? Do you find that you need to use a moisturizer on top of it? I know that Okusil is the complementary eye preparation but has anyone tried the ADCE around the eye area and had good results? Does anyone out there have success using something other than the Prep prior to the ADCE application?
Any comments from all you ADCE-ers would be greatly appreciated!! |

First of all, yes you can use AlphaDermaCE around your eye area. Just don't put it on your lid. The Okusil is great if the only area you want to work on is the eyes and you have dark circles and bags.
The Prep to me is the foundation for AlphaDerma. Now that it has the HA in it is is very rich. You only need approximately 1/2 pump for whole face and neck. It glides on and sinks in very quickly. Once absorbed you apply the AlphaDerma. Again, ADCE spreads very nicely and a little goes a long way. It goes on very silky. I have not needed a moisturizer over it (mature skin) until these cold New England months. I love Derma Butter over the AlphaDerma.
As far as using another product under the AlphaDerma, I am sure you could use a straight HA. But, the Prep really is the best way to go. You can also use AlphaDerma alone. I found that I did get results with just the AlphaDerma. Once I added the Prep progress speeded up.

The texture of ADCE is like a cream gel, leaning more towards the gel I guess. It doesn't feel oily. It gets absorbed into the skin pretty much straight away and does not look shiny. |

The Prep is a gel. I really like the feel on my skin but at first it goes on quite tacky. ADCE for me goes on more like a lotion. I try to let each dry before go to the next step. |

Be careful as, from what I recall, that's not necessarily a good thing. 10% is all you need to achieve the desired effect. I don't think a higher % has shown any improvements. Someone please correct me if I got this wrong...? |

10% what was used in the clinical trials and no tests have been done on greater percentages than that as far as I know.
When Argireline was tested, a 10% solution was used and that produced:
17% reduction in fine lines and wrinkles in 15 days;
27% reduction in fine lines and wrinkles in 30 days;
39% improvement in smoothness;
42% improvement in dryness;
45% improvement in skin tone;

Just giving an update on the flatline-ccs. It's working much better than the 10% that I had tried and I am very pleased. |
