I notice that men I do business with - often get hopping mad at me when they try to lie/shade the truth/make up something/cover up something in the course of doing business and I uncover it and ask the hard questions.
No matter how tactful or non-confrontational and courteous I am.
It feels like sexism.

| They'd probably be as angry with you if you were a man calling them on shifty behaviour like that. If it feels like sexism, its probably because in their anger they're throwing out the "bitch" card in a desperate attempt to put you down. PLEASE don't let them get to you that way - its pobably the only way they can think of to try & let the wind out of your sails. People who lie/hide are weak and it sounds like they're just scrambling for ammo. IMO that's THE most pathetic way for men to try and get their revenge. |

Sounds soooooo familiar.
I totally agree with LoriA. Please don't get it personally. Be higher than this.
This type of men just don't put much attention in what they feed to others. They measure everyone by themselves and just get defensive instead of actually think of what you say to them. I guess this is a matter of personal intelligence level.
Save your breath. Let their parents and poor wives deal with it.
