Well, I ordered my JB 5 day trial pack and the Cellular Skin Rx C+ serum, and while I was there, I figured that I would try the Epidermx and Silkia oil as well.
I understand that Epidermx applied with the hands, but would it be wrong to use a Dermanew unit with it? Does Epidermx differ from other microderm creams in any way that it can't/shouldn't be used with such a unit? I don't want to exfoliate too much or too harshly. In any case, it will wait until my first 5 days with JB are done.
This lot of goodies should keep me busy for the next few weeks

Tina,
Please exfoliate before using ADCE. VERY LIGHTLY. Introduce to Epidermx slowly. I love the Silkia oil!!! If you are very dry I apply Silka (just a few drops) wait about 10 minutes then do Prep, Vit. C, AlphaDerma. Use all the JB products sparingly. HAVE FUN!

I prefer using the Epidermx with my hands. I tried using a handheld tool and it didn't work the same. I can see little shavings of dead skin clump up when I apply with my hands, but not with a machine. You can try both and see which you like better. |

Thanks, Winnie. I am on day four today of testing the JB products, and I haven't had any breakouts or irritation, so I ordered the 1 oz. Alphaderma with the free 1 oz. Prep from the JB website (GREAT deal if anyone is on the fence about trying this; only $60 for 1 oz. of Alphaderma and 1 oz. of Prep, plus I got free shipping, which ends January 31), and I think that I will add the Okusil and cleanser/toneer later. I love how they make my skin feel , especially the Prep. I was afraid that the Alphaderma would be heavy, like a cream, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is more like a thick serum or a lotion. I couldn't resist trying the Epidermx at least once , and I liked the Epidermx/Silkia combo so much, that I almost ordered the larger sizes immediately. Anyway, I wasn't expecting miracles from using the JB products for five days, but I wanted to get a sense of how my skin would react to it, and I have found that my skin is okay with it, which makes me happy because my skin reacts to so many products.
I truly think that trying new skincare is my only hobby

After using my hands, I am not tempted anymore to try it with Dermanew. Thanks for letting me know that it doesn't work the same; I want to get the full benefit of using it (which is, I guess, see all of that clumped up stuff fall into the sink ).
