I got a sample of cetaphil from the dermatologist and it's okay.. but I don't feel "clean" afterwards.

Wondering what gentle cleansers everyone else uses.

I agree with SusieQ. Of all the reviews that are on that site, the cleansers are usually very well reviewed since it's mostly based on the detergent ingredients that are in the product.

The foaming facial cleanser by Clean and Clear is pretty good as well and has great reviews on mua

Cerave is very nice, similar to Cetaphil but I like it better. Neither are good at removing makeup or sunscreen though so I only use as an morning cleanser.

I am really loving Clarins Daily Energizing Cleansing Gel. Very effective, gentle, not overpoweringly fragranced, nice rich lather. Another I like is La Roche Posay Lipikar Syndet, which is sold as a body cleanser but makes a fab facial cleanser.

I guess I'm so use to foaming cleansers that cetaphil just feels like I got yogurt on my face and now I'll have to wash it off. I'm giving it a try though, at least until my bottle runs out.

I hear Fresh facial wash is quite gentle. And it foams! I may try that next if the price is comparable to cetaphil. Smile

Sounds good, will have to try. Another gentle cleanser is Liz Earle (best if you have dry skin though). I do have a penchant for Murad cleansers- the Pomegranate and Resurgence cleansers are particular favourites.

If you like foaming cleanser, Earth Science Clarifying Facial Wash cleanses well and it’s gentle and affordable. It’s best for oily/combo skin though.

OSEA Ocean Cleanser is great. I have used it for over two years with no problems. It removes makeup without making your face totally dry. Very nice stuff.

My husband has pimples, he uses QV facial cleanser. It is good and make him face clean.

I use Eminence stone crop gel wash. I have sensitive skin and it is good for me without allergy.

I've been using Cosmedix Benefit Gentle Cleanser for the last 2+ years and I really liked it -- past tense! I recently purchased a bottle and it felt different, smelt different, left my skin feeling too clean, almost squeaky clean (I dont like that - it implies over-stripping to me) -- I looked at the ingredients and they have changed EVERY single one! I was not happy! My hubby uses this cleanser too and he got out of the shower after using it all red and irritated.

So I think I'll try the Osmosis Gentle Cleanser again - or maybe give something else a go.

I think the reformulated Cosmedix Cleanser may be relegated to brush cleanser! lol Laughing

That is actually mynew favorite! I use Soy Fresh cleanser. It is super gentle.

I don't like Cetaphil either-for the same reason, my skin never felt clean.

I heard Cosmedix was purchased by a new owner and they have all new ingredients that are not pure or natural. Nothing like the old company Sad
