I am almost at Week 3 on Obagi Nu Derm, I'm seeing a difference in my over all skin tone but my sun damage spots have not faded. The skin around the damage has brightened up though. I've read on other posts that the spots are suppose to get darker first then fade? but when should I expect to see a difference? This is the only reason I am doing OBagi is to get rid of the damage. I have major sun spots.
I am using Tretinoin .05%. So far I have redness and flakiness not sheets of skin peeling like other folks on here, so it hasn't been a bad experience for me. Just would like to see more of an improvement. I also used it on my neck and have had great results in this area.
Thanks! |

Its too soon to worry. It can take several weeks. Hyperpigmentation is difficult to treat so it takes a while to improve. Dont give up yet.
My skin never peeled off in sheets with tretinoin/tazarotene. I just just had dryness/flakes. |

I didn't start to see fading until weeks 6 thru 8. Give it more time. |
