I wanted to use a glycolic wash with the Clarisonic, but I use Retin A at night. I was wondering if the wash and the Retin A could be used together.

Thank you!

They can be used in together, with a 20min wait before you apply the Retin A. But I wouldn't recommend it. The Clarisonic is somewhat exfoliating, and used together with a glycolic wash might be too much for your skin. Especially since you are already using a "strong" treatment product after (Retin A).

I have sensitive skin and at night Im using some glycolic acid pads. I wait 30/40 minutes and I apply my retin A micro. I use my clarisonic the nights I dont use retin A or in the mornings. (I dont use makeup ,so a gentle cleanser is enough for me at night)

You could probably just use the glycolic wash + clarisonic in the morning and your hands + retin A at night. That way, you can get the benefit of all three, and reduce irritation

Thank you oasisjc and miss sunflower! I was going to go a bit crazy and use glycolic wash, the glycolic 20% pads, retin a, and Vitamin C all at night because I didn't know which of these I could use in the morning.

Glycolic acid and tretinoin should not be used at the same time. Once thought it increased penetration however more recent years it was discovered it decreases the effectiveness of both when use at the same time. You could use AHA in the am and tretinoin in PM.

Dont use both actives at the same time as it will be over kill for the skin. I use one active in the morning and one at night. Its okay to use a cleanser contain glycolic acid in it prior to use of Retin-A but just try to have a waiting time of 20 minutes before applying the Retinoid
