1- No.
2- I recommend consulting a derm or plastic surgeon about TCA peels. (TCA = trichloroacetic acid)
I don't know the level of damage your skin has but EpidermX is superficial...It's likely to provide exfoliation, nothing more.
To help w/ wrinkles, you need resurfacing and collagen remodeling. Medium depth peels, or several superficial peels can do this to some degree. Laser resurfacing is an option, as is tretinoin therapy. (Retin A Micro is a popular "version" of tretinoin.
I have to warn you, chemical peels are not a great way to even out discoloration...unless they are reddened marks from past acne.
It's unlikely one tca peel will "get rid" of wrinkles. (where are these wrinkles by the way?)
hths?
PS, Alpha Derma CE is not a chemical peel. |

AlphaDermaCE is not a chemical peel. It is an antiaging skincare line to deminish and relax fine lines and wrinkles, firm the skin. You can read more about ADCE at: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/alphaderma-anti-ageing.htm
Depending on your discolorations Epedermx could very well help you along with AlphaDermaCE. Some of the members on the forum have had great success with Epedermx. I am sure they can help you more then I.
I do know however that AlphaDerma will help greatly with fine lines and wrinkles and the tone (firmness of your skin).

Epidermx is not just an exfoliator but a manual microdermabrasion so it goes deeper. I love Epidermx (obviously since I sell it) but I still have sunspots so I say a TCA or Obagi peel might yield you better results. |

Chemical peels usually give you faster results, but they're more expensive and more risky to use. If your wrinkles and discoloration are fairly superficial, Epidermx/Silkia camellia oil will give you great results, but it'll take a couple of months. I believe you may have seen the befores/afters at http://www.goldportbeauty.com where they show some people used these products with wonderful results for their forehead wrinkles and crow's feet. Add a Vitamin C or AHA serum for better results for discoloration.
You shouldn't use Epidermx and chemical peels together. You can read more about chemical peels at http://www.plasticsurgery.org/public_education/procedures/ChemicalPeel.cfm |
