I finally settled down with my "product jumping" and have been pleased so far using some products in the Dr. J SkinClinic product line (I get them from JoElla Milan Skin Care).
Vita-C Serum: L-Ascorbic acid at 20%
Vita-C Peel: L-Ascorbic acid and 10% of Hydroxy acid
Cell Revitalizing Hydrator: Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera Gel, Polyphenols, Vitamin B5
Cell Protective Recovery Concentrate: Polyphenols, Tocopherol, Retinol
I've tried a few C serums in the past but wound up getting clogged pores and breakouts. With this serum I don't but maybe that's because of the C Peel. JoElla recommends using the Vita-C Serum and Vita-C Peel together but I tend to do that every few nights instead of every night (according to the little pamphlet that came with the product). I don't rinse the Peel off but you can either rinse it off or leave it on, your choice. I find it's mild. so I leave it on. So far I have seen some lightening with age spots and old scars, happy about that, and a clearer skin tone. The retinol in the CPRC seems to agree with skin as well, it seems mild. In the beginning I had some flaking and rough skin texture but it's calmed down now. One thing I have not done yet is use this near my eyes, although I read that C is good for under eye circles and they do sell some eye products I may try later on.
All in all, I find it's an easy routine that is actually doing good for my skin. Right now she's also having a sale for Black Friday in case anyone's interested. She also has more detailed descriptions on her site. Hopefully, this is the end of my jumping around.  |
