Hello ladies!

Does anyone know if organic products are better for your skin?
What organic brands are there that are worth trying?

I've tried a few products from the alba botanica line. Their hawaiian pineapple enzyme scrub is a nice gentle scrub that I use every few days. I've also tried the toner from the hawaiian line too but find it slightly drying on my drier spots. http://www.avalonnaturalproducts.com/main/home-hme1-AVL.asp

I've read that Jason naturals are pretty good...I'm sure someone will comment further on that line.

I found http://www.sukisnaturals.com to be a fabulous organic/holistic line. They have mini try me kits for around $20. Dr. Hauschka is also a wonderful line.

I don't know if organic is better, but I like it because I know what I'm putting on my skin.

Aubrey Organics is another quality line to look into. I love Dr Hauschka - it is all-natural but I'm not sure if it's organic.

I really love Dr Hauschka as well but I didn't respond here because I didn't know if it was organic or not. I've just searched though and I think at least some of the ingerdients are organic - not sure if all of them are. I think Jurlique is organic though and that's a great line as well!

They sell the whole Dr Hauschka line at Whole Foods here, would that mean its organic?

Dr. H products are not strictly organic. They have the 'Certified Natural Cosmetic' seal from the BDIH. The follow these guidelines:

-raw materials are predominantly of plant or mineral origin

-plant should be obtained from organic, biodynamic or ethically wild-harvested sources whenever possible

- most synthetic ingredients are unacceptable

-no animal testing of raw materials or products

-animal ingredients such as collagen, elastin, ceramides, mink, musk and spermaceti oils are not allowed

-genetically modified raw meterials are strongly discouraged

I skipped all the guidelines that didn't have anything to do with ingrediants.

Thanks Liz!

This is very informative!
I was wondering what their guidelines are. Smile
