I hope this hasn't been posted already, the search tool couldn't find it.
Depending on the 'hold' factor, this will be medium/strong hold.
3 teaspoons of sugar (use less sugar for less hold)
Boil a 1/2 cup of water, add sugar. Completely dissolve. Put in a spray bottle.
To add a nice fresh smell, simmer a few slices of oranges in the water first, take them out then add sugar.
Store in fridge, last about a week. To add to the shelf life add some vodka, less than a tablespoon. Will last 2 weeks. |

Wow, this is interesting! I have very curly hair which, if I don't use enough product, gets "puffy" and frizzy - meaning the hair doesn't hold together enough to hold tidy, clumped up curls, especially in the wind or overnight.
All the hairsprays I've tried seemed super sticky & hard to wash out, and smelled absolutely toxic. It never occurred to me to bother trying others.
Sugar sounds odd, but I'll try it out! Thanks! |

| I have curly to wavy hair too and I find this hairspray works best when you spray it then let it dry, and spray again. Keep letting it dry in between sprays. I hope it works for you! |

Wow again! I'm certainly no expert on hairspray, but having just tried this I cannot tell much difference between this and any other except that the annoying things are missing.
The other thing that really bothered me about hairsprays was getting it on my skin and the scare of a big breakout, or just not being able to get it off easily. This won't be a problem and neither will buildup on my hair.
Thanks for sharing this. How simple!
I'll bet if you mixed in just a little oil, glycerine, aloe or something, it'd change dramatically to exactly what anyone's looking for in a hair product. I'm not sure what hairspray typically does is exactly right for my needs, so I'll be experimenting, for sure.
Cheers! |

| great idea with adding a little extra moisture too! I will be trying some coconut oil since its moisture benefits are amaaaaazing for hair. |

It is no use for me, please confirm is the following steps correct.
1. spray on dry hair
2. wait for the hair dry
3. spray again |
