A make up artist recently told me to stop using eye lash curlers because with regular use, they damage your lashes.

Has anyone heard this before?

if you use the normal kind (with the rubber thing on top lol) nothing bad will happen to your eyelashes.

I've been using eyelash curlers for 20+ years, my lashes seem fine.

I think it depends on how you use it. If you grip the lash about mid-way, I think it's fine, but if you grip it near the skin and then pull it to curl, that may do damage.

I too have been using eyelash curlers for almost 20 years and have no problems at all. I think it depends on your technique and how gentle you are.

Also if you eat a healthy diet and take the appropriate supplements then your eyelashes should grow strong and healthy and be able to deal with an eyelash curler Wink
