Hi Everyone! Has anyone out there tried "Flavay"? This oral supplement sounds miraculous for the skin and, apparently is being touted by Nicholas Perricone as something that can take years off of your skin....I am terribly curious - has anyone tried it or heard of it? I took a look at the link below and was pretty amazed by what I was reading...again, I'm pretty skeptical and hope that someone out there is familiar with it - Thanks!

Considering the ongoing price, I wish I could say that Flavay was a waste of money, but on the plus side, what they say about it is true.
Your skin will look spectacular while taking Flavay, and especially youthful. It will reduce acne, if this is a problem. It will also decrease or eliminate allergy symptoms.
Flavay is the only reliable supplement I've ever taken. You'll notice a difference within the first week of taking it. It made me believe that supplements could actually work.
I'm not affiliated at all with the product... I wish I could afford to always have it on hand. |

I researched Flavay and concluded (maybe wrongly) that the active ingredient is Pycnogenol (Maritime French Pine Bark). So I bought a bottle from Swanson of Pycnogenol instead (still pretty expensive...). Then I went to Europe and bought much higher dosage/serving and quantity of Pycnogenol much cheaper (it was about $7 for 30 caps of 200mg). I have been taking these for a couple of months, 3 times/day, and haven't noticed a difference... I read that it's supposed to help with cellulite, too (since it's a connective issue problem). Unfortunately, in my case, I still have acne (painful sporadic cysts ), cellulite has not changed at all, and my skin keeps aging (ok, I know I can't stop that, but I was hoping for an improvement in texture, complexity, etc).
Maybe Flavay is the real deal, like odostaples says. Maybe it's absorbed differently, better quality, etc. I just can't get myself to spend that much money on a supplement at the moment. |
