Hi, I've had pigmentation on my face for years and tried so many things to get rid of it. I found out about obagi, and following a consultation with a doctor who said it is suitable for me, I went ahead and purchased the starter kit and tretinoin 0.1%. I bought the Obagi over the internet from America, as it worked out to be about half the price of purchasing it from the doctor here in London.
However, now I'm quite nervous about going on it on my own as I don't know anyone else whose been on it and have very sensitive skin. I was wondering if I should follow a slightly different routine to most because my skin's sensitive? If so, what routine would you recommend?
Also, I'd like to minimise the amount of shedding as I'm 19 and I'd be so afraid to go into uni with my skin shedding loads!

I would go back to your doctor who said it was suitable for you and get a "routine" from him. At least for the first 6 weeks it is important to have a professional follow your skin. That way if you have a reaction that isn't "normal", he would be able to tell you what to do. It is a very aggressive routine. Good luck! |
