Where do you go for the latest dermatology news on lasers and procedures such as chem peels?
I want to stay current.
Is there a good online dermatology blog or newsletter?
thanks, bfg |

Realself has good info, some from users, others from doctors who do the procedures.

New Beauty magazine. However the mag is really just full of advertisements so you really need to do you own research. |

Thanks, I have issues with both of those, but appreciate your replies.
I am getting an idea here - I see a need not being fulfilled, but different from Paula Begouin (spelled right?)

Absolutely bfg... Paula used to be objective but once she started selling her own products she lost me.... So much of what we read out there is just disguised advertisements. I also used to read allure to stay in the loop for new treatments/tools but again... they are recommending products that I know are junk and are from companies advertising in the mag. It is frustrating. |

It seems there is a huge need for unbiased reporting on the latest news in health & beauty, particularly in the beauty category because I think there are lots of health writers who are reputable and back up their findings - not so in the beauty industry.
If someone needed a good income and had decent writing and research skills - I predict this would take off - similar to Consumer Reports, but it could be done online.

yes... even blogs that I used to go to are now filled with advertisements. How can I trust a blogger when a cosmetic companies ultimately pay the bills. |
