I always buy the cheapest nail polish remover, but it seems to dry out my nails pretty badly (by turning white when i apply it).
Are the more expensive removers worth spending extra money on? |

Excellent topic! I need advice too. I'm concerned each time I clean my polish. Sometimes I just use a coat of old polish I don't like as remover, since its less drying.
I noticed that whatever they had out at Sephora was a real breeze to use (just melted the colour off), and didn't smell as bad as the cheap stuff.
I have a tip to contribute though: Use a scrap of flannel to remove polish. It works SO much better than cotton or tissue. |

Sister - name of the remover?
My favorite is the one sold at Sephora for OPI, the purple fluid. Expensive, but the best I have tried.

I find the cheap removers I have to use 5x as much to get my nail polish off.
I really like the Mavala one, I need almost no remover to get my dark polishes off.
The Sephora one is good, but I hate sephora,so will not shop there. |

I always buy cheap removers. Acetone is acetone and they are all based with it. |

I've seen some that are all natural and the label said non acetone and that it had no scent- got a bottle as a gift- forget the brand now.
it worked ok,had to use tons and left the hands feeling oily.
I find w the cheap nail polish remover I really end up using 5 or 7 cotton pads to remove my polish and with Mavala or opi I just use 2.
-so maybe the more expensive one is more worth it?
also the cheaper removers it takes almost a minute per nail to remove my polish if it is dark w topcoat.
today I have metalic black polish w black glitter in it and the cheap polish remover is %%%^& to use and barely works. |

TIPS (The Incredible Protection System) is very moisturizing and contains the TIPS solution in it. It effectively removes polish without drying out your nails. Love it. Yes it is a bit expensive, but worth it. You can purchase from ASK Cosmetics. |

the shopping channel sells TIPS.
I remember trying some of the products and hand wash years ago.
they were nice and I think all natural? or mostly natural?
kind of a expensive line though.
might have to look into it again as I'm sure they have new products now |
