I have used retin a for abt a year abd stopped since it tended to flake me out quite a bit. It wasnt that flaky but the mark it left on my face took sometime to disappear. Nevertheless, the retin a has helped to lessen my laugh lines but it does not do much to my frownlines (now i wud call it crease) on my forehead. After stop for quite some time, i switch to avene eluage which has retinyldehyde, somehow it seems that i adapt to it. My Q is : How effective does retinydehyde compare to retin a in terms of its collagen inducing capability ? |

Nothing will do much for the frown lines because you activate the muscle too much. I used a topical serum a few years ago from Dianayvonne.com that paralyzes the muscle like botox so that it can be remodeled. It does work but you have to be consistent with it. I would check with her about that. |
