Hi all!
Wanted to post a review on two new products I've been using for a little over two weeks now, and I'm very happy to report that I like them both very much!!
I bought the Lamas skincare kit that was on sale that included a face and body wash along with their eye gel and a couple of moisturizers - one for night, one for day, and finally their lip enhancer. The first thing I noticed was that I loved the citrusy fragrance. The products I had were all Vitamin C based, and I gotta say the face gel is wonderful!! Unlike most face gels, it does not leave my face feeling dry after washing; it feels just soft and cleansed. So far, I think it's the best gel I've ever used! The soft scent is yummy. The eye gel is very cooling and nice, but I don't think it's hydrating enough, but it's so very cool to the eye area when you put it on, that I think it's helped with puffiness. The night moisturizer is okay, didn't bowl me over - I still guage (sp) everything against Rosa y Fruta - the daytime moisturizer is nice as well - it contains sunscreen - but at least for this time of year, I'm still using either RYF or Emollience by Skinceuticals. All in all I think the Lamas products are very nice, but in my opinion that face gel is a sure-fire winner. Oh, the lip enhancer did not enhance my lips, but it is moisturizing and I don't get the waxy buildup crap like I do with most other lipbalms.
Now....here was an unexpected surprise. I had bid on e-bay for the Avon Microexfoliant b/c of the five star reviews it gets on Makeup Alley - I got it for $12.95 (sells for $20). This is a GREAT product!!! Avon got it right this time! It is a very gentle microexfoliant and my skin looks healthy and radiant after using it! This is a keeper! I haven't tried it with my Spa Girl machine, which I still have, but hadn't used, because the microderm cream that came with it got MOLDY!!! EEEE-yewwwww!!! I opened it up to use it and there was green moss growing on it. I sent an email off to Planet Beauty, and they were great about it. They told me to send it back (which I promptly did) and they'd send me a new one (haven't rec'd yet.) I was going to order the Epidermx as well, but since I'm incredibly broke right now, I have to wait.....but if you want to try this, it's really a nice product! I am so happy to have a rather inexpensive product work so well! Kudos to the Avon people on this one!
Okay, lenghthy review....thanks for listening!

I haven't tried the products but doesn't it feel great when you find something that works for you.
So many product lines tend to fall short of my expectations
It is wonderful that we can share our discoveries here. |

I am tempted to try the Avon exfoliator following the review. I have never tried Avon products. |
