I've tried many mineral foundations. PurMinerals pressed looks best on me, but breaks me out with the shea butter in it.
I've tried Jane Iredale, Aromaleigh, Philosophy, Bare Escentuals, others, and none of them look right on me, so I may need a lotion type of foundation but lots of things break me out.
I'm looking for an all natural foundation that is oil-free but still not drying (must have some glycerin in it), either a moisturizing compact powder foundation (some are so drying) or a lotion type foundation. Glycerin doesn't break me out but lots of others things in lotions do.
I've tried Illuminare foundations and they aren't good for me.
Most foundations look good at first then get real cakey and dry looking, even with good moisturizer.
I just tried Revlon Age Defying makeup with Botafirm and it looked good at first, then after an hour my lower cheeks looked all cakey and powdery, and I put it on thin and thinned it out with some glycerin, too.
Have never found anything that works that doesn't break me out. My skin needs the ones for dry skin, but then I get acne from them. |

Have you tried the Jane Iredale Liquid Minerals? Or, perhaps the Glominerals Oil-Free Liquid foundation might be suitable? |

Or mixing whichever powder mineral foundation that was the lesser of all the evils with a bit of your fave moisturizer to make your own liquid mineral foundation...? |

There are a couple more out there and the only one I can remember right now is Melange. When/if I remember the other that I am wracking my brain to remember I will let you know.
Not sure if Chantecaille future skin is ALL natural but it is oil-free and I have dry skin and this works well for me. Neimanmarcus.com carries, not sure if ingredients are listed.
Good Luck! |
