Hi there,
I'm on the lookout for a predominantly physical facial sunscreen for everyday use. FWIW, I have very fair skin, green eyes and light hair; I burn incredibly easily. I've tried a number of purely physical sunscreens with ~20% (non-nano) zinc oxide and I can never avoid a white cast, however minimal.
As a compromise, I'll settle for a physical / chemical sunscreen that has better appearance. I'd like to have at least 10% zinc / titanium, supplemented by chemical sunscreening agents.
Shiseido has come up a few times, and the Ultimate Sun Protection Cream (SPF30+ in Australia) appears to fit the bill. How is it in terms of visibility? Does anyone know if Shiseido use nano-particles? This is of some concern to me.
I sampled the tiniest amount in store today and from that limited experience it appears to be more amenable than the aforementioned purely physical sunscreens.
I'd also be interested in hear any feedback on the Gentle Sun Protection Lotion, which I understand to have no chemical sunscreens. I'm afraid the 'lotion' may be a little too runny for my liking.
Any help at all is appreciated. |
