Hey!
Did anyone try the D2O or Balance Spritz from Jane Iredale? Which one is better for oily acne prone rosecea skin? Thanks! |

I've only tried the D2O - ideally you'd want to hear from someone who's used both. I really like the D2O but by the names of the products I'd say the Balance one would probably be best for you. |

Actually, I’ve got both. I started out with the D2O and loved it, but when I went back to my store to get another (backup) bottle, they were out so I bought the Balance spritz instead. The SA got out the JI reference manual and we checked the ingredients line by line and the only difference between them was that D2O has ylang ylang listed as its first ingredient and the Balance has Tangerine Flower Water is its first.
Overall, though, I have to say that I actually prefer the Balance spritz – I just haven’t gotten around to amending my original review yet. Anyway, I don’t have redness, but I am über-oily! Here’s the link to both product descriptions on EDS:

http://www.essentialdayspa.com/jane-iredale-d2o-hydratio-p_2422.htm
Note that the Balance spritz specifically says “Tangerine flower water, chamomile, myrrh and seaweed extracts calm and feed the skin. Myrrh especially reduces inflammation.” To me, that says: good for acne-prone skin with rosecea!! If I had to choose only one of them, I’d definitely go with the Balance spritz.
BTW, I’ve been using both of the spritzes in lieu of a traditional moisturizer because my skin is so oily. And since I’ve been using the Balance spritz in the mornings, I truly feel that it’s helped (possibly along with the new Vit-C serum I’ve recently incorporated) regulate the oil-factory in my face!
Anyway, hope this info helps.

I bought the D2O for hydrating my skin during flights. It was pretty convienient to just spray the face in a sec than to put cream on.
On regular basis I prefer using regular mositurizers
I also heard that people use D2O to help the JI make up settle on the skin.
