The ACV really hurts. Do it for as long as you can, file some of the wart down if you can stand it. There were a couple nights that I could only stand it for a few hours, not my full sleep schedule. But by that time it was obvious the wart was on its way out.

Good to hear there may be progress Bren! I was really hoping for some kind of iconic picture in the end, of you smiling with a banana in one hand & duct tape in the other though. Very Happy

So interesting that simple vinegar would cause such dramatic results. Do you think taking a pain or anti-inflamatory med at night would help?

I tried taking a couple ibuprofen before bed, it didn't help. I think the pain is too localized for it to make a difference. Very intense feeling.

Haha...no epic picture, but damn the progress is rapid. Most of the outer layer of my thumb I was able to pull off today leaving a crevasse. But there is still more to go on it for sure though. And you're not kidding about the pain Ava! Whoa...very intense. I couldn't last all night with it on either. Not sure if I'm going to put any on my thumb tonight due to it being a bit open and raw. It would probably send me through the roof.

Well, I think I am now to the point where I can lay off the ACV. Not sure if they are gone completely, but I am missing a fairly hefty chunk of skin on the tip of my pointer finger and thumb which leads me to believe I may have gotten all the wart (my pointer is especially open and raw at the moment, but that was the more established wart of the 2). I will let them heal up and go from there...if it looks like any wart is still left, I will go at the ACV again.

Thanks so much for the help ladies! I am amazed that the ACV worked so well and so quickly! Under a week! ...and with a $1.30 bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar no less. Go figure... Laughing Gotta love those natural, cheap remedies. Painful, but definitely worth the few days of it.

Acetic acid is indeed vicious stuff (in a good way when used wisely). Very Happy

How's the healing going? I hope they never come back, mine never did.

Actually they look great Ava! I can't believe it and I haven't seen them look this good in 3 or 4 years Very Happy

It just amazes me on what a knockout job the ACV did and I was showing and telling anyone I could about it Laughing

My pointer finger is as clear as a bell, just a little bit of jagged skin to wear off. Just to be on the safe side though, I think I may treat my thumb another night or 2 to see what happens. It still looks a bit crusty under the nail and I'm not sure if that is a little bit of wart left or just dead skin.

I think this did the trick and they won't be visiting again....amen!!
