Has anyone tried the SkinCeuticals Eye Renewal Gel? What did you think of it?
I'm looking for something for correction/prevention of fine lines in the under eye area (I'm only 25).
I know many will recommend Okusil, but unfortunately its not in my budget.. |

Hi Lianne
Sorry I cant help you with an eye care product, i've been searching for the right one for the past 5 years. Before that I was a soap and water girl. Im 38, have a few fine line and wrinkles under the eye too and would kill for that elusive product. I too was recommended Okusil and am into day 2 of using it. It is expensive but my mastercard has yet to buckle under the weight Alot of people recommend the cellcosmet which is WAYYY to expensive There is so many products to choose from, we are literally spoilt for choice. Keep me posted as to what you go for |

Cindi,
I got a sample yesterday of Guinot Anti-Fatigue eye gel. It's a gel - jello like cream for puffiness, bags, and circles. It sure helped with those, but I still had to put another cream on top for the wrinkles (I'm so paranoid). I'll let you know what I think of it in a few days. I still want to try the skinceuticals stuff though.
Have you tried the Babor Sensational Eyes, it's supposed to be wonderful!
Do tell me how the okusil works out...and thanks for not ignoring my thread I may just need to try this product so I can respond to the next person to ask about it |

Hey lianne, dont be paranoid. Mind you, Im the same. My eyes let me down. I look like I havent been to bed for weeks sometimes. I do sleep badly so whatever I use Im always going to be fighting it, but I can never give up. Im determind to give the Okusil a try, hopefully I will reach the end of the bottle and be happy to order again. Winnie has had such great results, but we are all looking for different results. I have few fine lines underneath the eye and maybe some creping. Thankfully, no resident crows feet, only a few "laughter lines" when in deed I laugh, Ha! Which isnt often....... What ever we try lets keep each other posted. I got a sample of the MD vita eye cream, so I may use that on the upper lids. How old are you lianne, do you have many lines |

I'm 25 and I have the start of some serious frown lines. I also am getting a bit of crows feet starting. It's mainly been in the past year.
I sleep 8+ hours each night but I wake up constantly throughout the night, which has given me nasty bags and circles.
I was bad to my skin, I used tanning beds, never drank water, no suntan lotions, never bought eye products...oh and NEVER wear my glasses (still don't).
I see how my moms eyes are and I do NOT want to look like that in 20 years....

Oh lianne, I never use sunbeds and we dont get the sun enough to worship it here. Im trying to drink lots of water but its hard going when I need the loo all day. A friend of mine has the deepest frown lines on a forehead that I have ever seen and shes tried allsorts. Mind, she does frown alot. One tip I had for her was when she is in the car and she has the heating on, never have the airvents pointing in your face, which she was doing, just sucking away any moisture that happened to be there.
I only started using skin care five years ago and Im 38, Im doing pretty well now and wonder how much of my current problem is down to using products in the first place. Putting too much eye product on can cause puffyness and its so tempting to layer it on. The Gatineau Melatogenine Eye creams are very rich and work wonders for some. They are too rich for me. They are pricy on this site but not sure if there is another one you can purchase from. Do QVC ship to Canada from the US. The shopping channels are great for trying stuff as you can return stuff. Maybe next time your order from EDS ask for a sample of the Melatogenine, you can get 3 ml samples which may give you an indication of whether its good for you. Remember what Mabsy said, ask for your sample whilst on the order form in the comments page. OOOhh its midnight, time for bed. Not helping my lines staying up this late........ |

Has anyone used this product? If so, I'd really like to hear how it worked out for you. The price is great. |

I think you would be better off using the AOX eye gel which is 5% C. The eye renewal gel is 5% AHA. I think the C along with sunscreen is best for prevention (and add moisturizer if you need it). |

Hi Lianne:
I have not used the Skinceuticals Eye Renewal Gel, but I use its counterpart which is the Skinceuticals Intense Line Defense. They are both the same type of product, except they made the eye gel with 5% Hydroxy Acids and the Intense Line Defense with 12% Hydroxy Acids.
I use the 12% formula on my entire face, including my undereye area and crowsfeet area. I have had no problems with it be irritating (I have sensitive and very fair skin). The product does not dry out the eye area. I have been using it for a few years now. I am very happy with it. I alternate it every other night with a Retinol. |
