1. 100% denim jeans and more 'at the waist'. Mid-rise jeans create a 'muffin' around my waist.
2. More dresses with sleeves.
3. Panty hose - I know many women don't like them, but I just don't feel 'dressed' with bare legs. Plus they cover up my spider veins and add color. |

I am in total agreement with #1. And could we totally get rid of the teen boy jeans that they belt below their bum to show their underwear. I would have thought that "fad" would have died a couple years ago. It is so ridiculous looking.
Another clothing style I wish would go out of style are baby doll tops and dresses. They're the ones that are fitted at the bust and then hang loose from under the bust down. I'm sorry, but just about everyone looks pregnant or heavy in the middle wearing those tops and dresses. What ever happened to feminine curves in clothing. I'm not talking tight-fitting clothes, but just something to make us women look and feel curvy, not like we're 4-5 months along.
Hmmm...I guess I talked more about what I don't like in fashion than what I miss. sorry. |

I agree about those 'baby doll' dresses - especially when they are paired with those 5-6 inch heels that are in style. Even teenagers look silly in them! |

Definitely agree with 2 and 3. I'm a big girl with broad shoulders and heavy upper arms, and I'm sick of seeing dresses without sleeves and then being told to top it all off with a shrug or jacket to cover up my arms. In my opinion, dresses with elbow length sleeves, a bit above the elbows, or three quarter length sleeves, can still be cool and comfortable in summer. Much more comfortable than wearing a jacket to minimise my heavy upper arms. While I don't always wear pantyhose (or in my case stockings) with all my warm weather dresses, I do in many case, and think I look all the better for it.
Finally, I'd love to see more shirt dresses and semi fitted A line dresses in stores. Both of these are versatile styles that can be dressed up or down and suit most body shapes. |

OMG, I so want "100% denim jeans" again... Whose bright idea was it to make jeans with spandex anyway? I HATE IT! The bloody things are all bagged out on the a$$ in an hour...
I think I'll have a look in the men/boys department...
I definitely want more choices of tops, dresses with long or 3/4 length sleeves... You could stand on your head trying to find that in Florida..
My 3rd thing is "Skippy" sneakers... They've been replaced with some cheap, ugly (made in China) version that I find really uncomfortable. They also don't stand up to washing. |

Barefootgirl, that was too funny! As long as we're dreaming, I'd like to add: My waistline before having kids! |

I want big hair to come back. I have natural big hair, like Texas, in 1985. I like it and want to let it fly, not straighten and smooth it so I look "professional".
I also kinda miss flare jeans.... I look fine in the skinny jeans of today till you get to my feet, which are HUGE and stick out like a duck. |
