I want to make my own glycolic lotion. I already have the glycolic acid (30%) but I need a good carrier lotion. I also need to know how much of the glycolic acid to add to the lotion. I used to get it made for me where my daughter works, but the esthetician that made it for me no longer works there. |

The best recommendation I could give you (that works like perfection for me) is to buy a cheap 8% retail product, and then just add your active to bring it to 15%.
I believe several members use and recommend a "Walgreen's" drugstore product..
I'm beyond measuring these days, so you'll probably want to use an online calculator to be precise. |
_________________ ♥I'm flattered by all the lovely PM's, but I don't get here much these days. Please don't be afraid to post your quearies to other DIY members who will be glad to help you (or sell you their wares..lol) Still happy with LED, dermarolling and a DIY antioxidant regime. Peace & Hugs to all.♥ |
