What's your current regimen: daily, weekly and monthly (if applicable?)
My 2012 regimen (not much change, but always open):
- cleansing AM & PM:
DHC Oil
Daytime: Burnout Sunscreen
Evenings (I alternate among these):
Retin A
Estriol Cream
Glycolic 8% cream
barrier cream (Cerave, etc.)
sometimes use short needled roller for penetration
A couple times/month: glycolic 30% peel
Every 4 -6 weeks:
Jessners/TCA peel or deep dermarolling followed by my serum of red palm oil, lycopene, oil based A, C & E - then apply a NatraGel mask.
Updates for 2012:
- planning to update my serum recipe soon
- considering swapping out the estriol for the LEF soy cream
- going to watch the Dermapen for home use later this year
- giving up Botox/Dysport entirely unless my crows feet return with a vengeance and only then in a small amount.
- will be watching this board to see how you all do with any of these new juiced up serums...would love to be convinced

Turning 50 soon and just need to re-vamp my program:
Finally started using a sonic cleanser (what took me so long), this has really made a difference. I really sat on the fence about using one of these, I can truely say if anyone else is, its more than worth every penny you spend for it, the cleaning and thus product absorption after of using this is amazing.
Using PMD, this machine is very powerful and if one isn't careful you can over-do this. I actually love it, but have very normal skin, not sensitive at all and have had a few opps, while they heal fast, if you using it do NOT stop on areas. But would reccomend this to anyone.
I just ordered the SSC micro-current machine, while I am concerned a bit on the battery rather than plug in, I actually love the idea of sitting on couch and using it, rather than stuck in a bathroom. I can't give a review on it yet.
Now for my confusion, perhaps someone and or all, can help. With all the "new" peptides, stem cell, cellular ect..coming out daily, I am just completely confused on what and how much and by who to use? |
