Hi Sandooch, I noticed in your signature that you are using Donell Lightening gel - how is it working for you? |

I actually need to change that. I was told I was using two products (Donell Lightening Gel being one of them) that had the same skin lightening ingredient in it. I chose to temporarily eliminate the Donell and just use the Alpha Hydrox for right now. Too soon to tell if that one is working though.
But I also do skin peels every week or two, so it's really hard to tell if only one product is lightening my pigmentation or a combination of 2-3. I'm inclined to say the peels are doing a majority of the lightening though since I've started using them about 1 1/2 years ago. They are now about 75% lighter thanks to peels. |

I've been doing 30% lactic peels too - about once a month. I think I'll start doing it every 2 weeks. It helps with overall skin quality such as roughness and brightness but does nothing for brown spots. still seeking best product to REMOVE brown spots. |

This woman on the MUAC testimonial page used a 40% lactic acid peel once a week (left on for just 5 minutes) for 4 weeks. Check out her results:
I know the lighting is so different in each picture, making the before pigmentation appear even darker, but you can still see a lot of difference.
If you did two layers of your 30% lactic acid peel, you'd increase the strength to 37%. Do the first layer and leave it on for 5 minutes and, if you can tolerate it, do a second layer and leave it on for another 5 minutes before rinsing off.
Right now I'm using up the rest of my Mandelic peel, 2 times a week. Then I will go up to my 65% lactic acid peel once a week for 3 weeks and follow that with a 15% TCA peel. Hopefully all that will get rid of my remaining melasma (or possibly melt off my face... ). Melasma is very hard to get rid of, but I believe it can be done. |

Those are awsome results but it's curious how the angle of her jawline and the little "pooch" under her chin have changed. Makes me wonder if the photo has been doctored. I'm sure your beautiful face won't melt off! |
