Good news, after only a couple of days of changing my routine - the mirrors today are less shocking! Much better. Actually very good! Looking forward to seeing next week. |

It's great to help with hydration after a flight. At the A4M conference I used it every morning for 4 minutes after I completed a 20 minute P1 routine with the Pico toner. The Merbe helps to sink in my favorite hydrating gel and also used after P2 at night. In LV you gotta give it your all! |
Sis, I thought you were using the Pico for lift and product penetration. I wouldn't think you would want to take both. Especially when traveling where space is at a premium. |

Actually, based on the raves with the Pico for lift, increased circulation, penetration, etc. why would one need both devices at all? |

I am pretty confused, since the above combo makes people look "reborn." Why mess with success? Unless....it doesn't? |

Just for the record, I personally don't think ANY home device can accomplish this, so please don't think that I am promoting the Sqoom/Merbe in this manner. |

Thanks! I did carry on only and managed fine with both.
Yes Cookie, you are correct. I use the Pico toner for lift. Nothing comes close. If I could only take one device it would be the Pico toner.
I don't travel with my Pico probes. The gloves work for the lift etc but I don't like using them with gels. Merbe is good for use with my favorite hydrating gel - and it's quick. I'm still trying Merbe out actually and trying to get a feel for what it really does. I haven't gotten a wow from the Merbe but I'm working with it. I do think it enhances and it may be textural as well as strengthening the overall integrity/look of the face.
I'm no different than others on EDS - I keep looking at options and use the well-rounded approach. We all know one product cannot do everything. I'm all about putting together the best I can for what works for me.
Ageless Secret Gold - Best youthenizing product I know. Jim Kasz had his face examined at Visio with their newest machine and at 67 he has the skin of a 51 year old. His hands defy description. I saw them - They appear like a 30 year old man. The Visio people became very curious about ASG naturally. I am now following Kasz's hand care protocal.
ASG is not a device and it doesn't function as one. It does perform unique functions unlike any other product. In any case - Bethany and Cookie thanks for the interest in me and my favorite products. I'm sure you didn't mean to come off as a little critical of my treatment choices though it sounded like maybe you were but that's ok. I use what works for me. I wake up everyday grateful for having the arsenol that works so I can be my best self. |

This is something I don't understand and the main issue I have with the professional microcurrent machine I bought. How can microcurrent results be cumlative if you have been using the Pico for 6 or 8 months and you have to take it with you for a 3 day convention and use it twice a day? If the results are cumlative you should be able to leave it at home and still retain the results during such a short 3 day period. Especially after using the gadget for such a long period. |

I just received my Rex-Kara II in the mail today and immediately tried it.
Mode 1 is quite stealth. I kept applying it to my face, not feeling anything and then staring at it to make sure it was on and operating. I adjusted it from Low to High and then could feel the slightest of sensation.
I went through modes 1, 2, and 3 on my face and neck. I hurried my way through it because the booklet states that the device has a pre-programmed auto timer that will stop the device after a certain amount of time.
I used the gel that came with the device and at the conclusion of using it my skin was slightly red. What I don't know is if the skin was red from the treatment or from the gel. I have sensitive skin so it's very possible that something in the gel created the redness.
For those of you that may know of potential irritants, here is the list of ingredients in the gel:
Di-water, Glycerin, Alcohol, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Arginine, Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol, Nonoxynol-12, Disodium EDTA
Most of that seems pretty innocuous to me, so maybe the redness was from the device.
Afterwards I applied Skinactives All Lipid Serum just because i thought it would feel good.
My plan is to enter the world of DIY serums/lotions/potions and hopefully come up with something that includes actives and conductors that don't aggravate my sensitive skin and still have enough power to make a difference! |

JaeBlue, do you think your rep would be willing to share a sample protocol on how one might use a sheet mask with a US device?
And would she be willing to give a yes or no about whether these Medi-heal aqua sheet masks would work? I have some of these on the way, and they'll have the white masks (which the seller says are "pure cellulose").
http://www.ebay.com/itm/131034163472?ss
The plan was to use the masks on their own (with the included topical applied first), as directed, and then carefully remove the mask and use the Merbe and Fyola gel to further penetrate whatever was left on my skin. Packratmack, is this also what you were thinking of when you mentioned using US with sheet masks?
It hadn't occurred to me that our devices would work with a sheet mask between the transducer and our skin, but I'd really love to be wrong about this! Especially since, from what I can tell, the Mediheal ingredients that I'm interested in are in the mask, not the topical. Otherwise I'm not sure that the MH masks will be of much use with the Merbe, but I'm going to give it the ol' college try. |

As for Pico and my Merbe. They are not the same functionality. I get different results from each though they do compliment each other.
Ageless Secret Gold gives the youthful glow and retrains cells to act younger (this is baseline work both outside and in) and the machines fill in the rest. As for needing another device - Oh my - since when do we on EDS think one device is all we will ever have? I think I may be getting close to saturation though. so you have a point there. |

Hi, Right now I am using Le Mieux Sheet Masks. Yes, you can run the head over the masks. The moisture infusion mask I am using, has a gauze layer that is saturated with the product. The mask surface is very easy to glide over. I use my LED beforehand to penetrate a serum and then I use the mask with the US. Sort of like a little spa treatment. I do this maybe twice a month because the masks are a little pricey. Take care. |

The Tua Viso is old technology...I got the Tua Tre'nd which is EMS and replaces facial exercise via muscle building and i am already seeing results that exceed the Safetox on my forehead. Love!! Unfortunately, neither the Merbe nor the BioWave (nor the Pico) are a substitute for facial exercise.
Btw, you didn't answer either of my questions above.
Also, can you please elaborate how how you are using the Pico and the Merbe for different functionalities? Your insight is greatly appreciated. |

It has only been a couple of weeks, but I am blown away by the forehead results thus far...they have exceed my results with the Safetox (which most people know I love). I think it will take more time to see results elsewhere on the face, but it is sooo much easier than facial exercise and I am more likely to keep doing it which is key. |

Leathal, here are the independent reviews for this device from QVC UK (meaning no one promoting the device at forums or conferences)...obviously you can't make everyone happy, but I would say that the scores are pretty impressive.

I had to look up MCR gel as I'm curious about the various gels out there for ultrasound and microcurrent and if they are differing in any significant way. I started a thread for that in case you'd like to pop in and share anything - especially if there is an ingredient list on your MCR (so far it's had a lot of view and zero replies).

Bethany and Cookie and anyone ~~ Let me add this as food for thought regarding the Pico:
Once maintenance is established you can use the Pico for a quick 5 to 10 min quickie in the morning and look amazing. Muscle has memory and it perks them up as well as provides excellent lymphatic drainage. I always use the Pico when I want that extra something to look my best. |

Bethany - Oh my - I just reread above. To clarify: I use my Pico toner as a replacement for facial exercise and then some - guess you didn't realize it did that. I thought it was blatantly obvious on the Pico toner thread (you know how 'we' went on about it!!! but I guess you missed those parts.
Yes, The Pico toner has replaced the need for facial exercises. For all who remember Toby - and that should be most of us. She was a diehard facial exerciser (like moi) and she is the one who told me the Pico toner replaced AND EXCEEDED her facial exercise results. Many of us saw the pics - she was so clear on results I have them from wayyyy back to Facial exercise days and the Pico knocked all of it out of the box. (Maybe you'll share yours like Toby did now that you are having success).
I used to do facial exercise almost everyday and now I barely do any per week. The Pico has taken over all of those functions. It's a more predictable and easy outcome and from a time standpoint you can't beat it.
I hope the Tau Trend does that for you. Someone wanted to sell me theirs a few years ago and I researched and turned it down. I'm glad you like it though. Is it better than that biowave we got from ebay?
From your standpoint: What does the Merbe do for you that is different from the Tua Trend? Thanks! |

The primary purpose of the Merbe is product penetration, as evidenced by their clinical studies (though it does have other benefits as well). And the Tua Trend is EMS for muscle building. Very different and no overlap. |

Thank you Stovetop. I really appreciate your interest. I am already helping many via pm or email and referring some to Kasz himself. A separate thread on the topic for the overall EDS crowd won't happen at this time. You know how that would go.
I will likely be posting on my experience at A4M and it will be an inclusion of sorts.
