Definitely not a one size fits all situation.
I tried it but I have combo skin so too heavy for me facially..I'm still capable of breaking out.
I do well with rosehip and pomegranate seed oil personally. Pomegranate seed oil put a literal end to any fluid retention under my eyes.
I tried coconut oil also just generally on the body but it didn't seem to penetrate that well so probably not my first choice there either..
I think internally might be the greatest overall strength for extra virgin organic cold pressed coconut oil. |

As for me, the aloe vera cream is better. |

Coconut oil is the one ingredient that breaks me out with cystic acne and I'll try almost anything. It is highly comedogenic. Coconut oil also coats my hair and leaves it feeling like greasy dry straw even after multiple washings to try and get it off the strands. |

Yes, coconut oil is a very good moisturizer. A regular use of it will give you great results. |

I was so impressed with the great heads of hair I recently saw in India, that I started a little survey when meeting Indian women in informal settings. Every single one said they used coconut oil to massage their scalps and to moisturize the strands. I am now conducting my own personal research using monoi oil which is coconut oil distilled with gardenia flowers and a traditional cosmetic used in Polynesia.
Delicious and effective. |

Coconut oil has many anti-bacterial,anti-fungal properties, also, it acts as a great moisturising agent. It naturally improves your skin within, especially if you have a dry skin. You can use coconut oil not only for the face, but also hair for an excellent outcome. |

Oil is easy to clog pores, and should be cautious when applied to the face, especially oily skin. |

Sorry to hear. At least now you know what suits you and what doesn't. It is a matter of trial and error for all of us as everybody's skin is all different.
I have enjoyed many blends of excellent facial/ body oils in the past and none of them had coconut oil in them.

David Wolfe seems to think so but I have been using it on my face for about 3 months and I am not sure it is not so much greasy as moisturising. I have broken out like never before on my jaw line and my skin does not look that great. |
