I suppose it depends on what you're applying to the skin. If it's an oil, then there's lots of slippage for massage. However, some creams sink right into the skin so if you attempt to massage you might drag and pull the skin.
Overall though, I'm in favour of massage. |

I use coconut oil when I do my Tanaka massage. I'm still relatively new to doing this, and will admit that I haven't been too consistent in doing it daily due to being exhausted at the end of the day from extensive yard work for the past few weeks. But when I do do it consistently, it really does make my skin look firmer and softer. Plus, the massage just feels so good. |
