I am not dry but I know just searching how many derms and plastic surgeons are recommending this product for all skin types and conditions even rosacea and psoriasis! It is apparently extremely calming to very compromised skin so no shock you are not having any negative reactions!
Great you are also getting results! |

I have no idea, I've always uses moisturisers and have not until a this year used the PMD or any type of exfoliation, other than once in a blue and I mean blue moon, a scrub. I have what I consider very normal skin. I just believe in them, so I've always used them. |
If you can skip using a moisturizer daily and your skin doesn't feel dry, I think you are fine. |
opps just added, while you were posting:
I am not using more cream now than I did before, not sure why you thought I was, but its same as always. I've used a cream since I was 15 years old and my grandmother taught me how to take care of my face! |
I didn't think you were using any more than you did in the past...I would have no way to know that, and I haven't seen you say that.
But you DID say you needed moisture, and most people who have used typical moisturizers (as in NOT Reluma) long term have compromised skin barriers. Skin barrier protection is fairly recent, and is the cornerstone of lines like Nia24. And most new, upper end moisturizers take that into consideration today.
If you think I was trying to pick at RL, you are 100% wrong...sorry, but my comment had no negative intent toward RL at all. I really think you guys keep looking for the negative, when there isn't any. Sheesh. |

Sylvia, which product/s are you talking about that is/are giving you the improvement? Or are you talking in general that your current routine is making an improvement? Sorry, I am getting confused, as I am assuming Darkmoon is speaking about Reluma, but it was not clear if you were or not! |

I didn't think that at all, I was not even talking about RL at all, calm down. Just explaining why I use a moisturiser. I just always have, I have no idea if I could go without one. I also use one to get the ingredients, even if thats oil of olay, so the productsisn't important here. |

Sorry Riley I should not have assumed that was what Sylvia was referring to, I did get the impression from her post on the other thread it had calmed her skin! |

Could someone please tell me when over-moisturizing occurs? What is a "typical" moisturizer? Aren't all night creams, serums etc. moisturizers?? What should one use if not moisturizers? What something, which is a cream, but not a "typical" moisturizer, should contain then (I mean, what kind of ingredients)?
I've got very confused. |

I stopped using any moisturizers that did focus on skin barrier repair, and was able to actually stop using them on a daily basis which was pretty shocking to me since I used to feel that I really needed them. |
Bethany, so what are the moisturizers, which do not focus on skin barrier repair? Why those, that do focus on it, are wrong? What do those cream actually contain? What kind of cream/serum do you use on daily basis? Sorry for so many questions but almost each page here makes me even more confused. ;/ Is using HA useless then? I have been using it for a quit a long time. |

Sorry everyone
It was reluma I was referring to. Icannot get over how I havent reacted to the cleanser, I really love it.
I cant even use skin bios cleanser and that is for
senstieve skin. All soap and claensers make my skin tight and dry., even shampoo.
I use OCM once or twice a week and well it was just water, but now I can use reluma.
I also like the RL serum and cream.
Hope I havent cinfused all over again |
