What's the difference between a hand cream and a body lotion?
Will an anti-aging body lotion also work well as a hand cream? |

I often use body lotions as hand creams. Some times they can be too greasy for the hands but depends on the formula. Technically there is no reason not to use on hands. If you have a body lotion you like, give it a try on your hands. |

A lot of people here use also use all their face creams on their hands and bodies.
Consistency and ease of spreading product over larger areas could also account for differences?
Personally, I prefer for my hand cream to provide a bit of a barrier from the elements since its such delicate skin that is constantly used and exposed. I wouldn't want or need the same kind of barrier on my body - perhaps just some moisture that sinks in. |
