Thanks for your excellent review. I'm so happy you've found one that's compatible with your skin and your needs. I plan on trying it based primarily on what you wrote. I've tried SO many different brands (last/current: Shiseido oil-free UV protection SPF 42, which glitters on my skin and that bothers me) Knowing that there are new FDA rulings on SS products I wanted to quickly search out what I'm now supposed to be looking for in terms of SPF. Which lead me first to
hhtp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunscreen
and a particular comment in the whopping (but informative with research notes), 16 page overview of what's been tested and what's not been tested: "For total protection against damage from the sun, the skin needs to be protected from UVA, UVB and IRA (infrared light). Roughly 35% of solar energy is IRA." Then made a subsequent link to
http://www.skintherapyletter.com/2010/15.4//2.html
I don't remember any of the SS products I ever used or use had anything listed about IRA. Maybe those products don't even exist in the marketplace.
But, again, I am very eager to contact Suntegrity for a sample of the Tinted Face Sunscreen. I loved to hear how much you liked it. All the pros and not any cons. |

Thank you, Kath. It is so nice to finally find a sunscreen that I like to wear! Good luck with the SS and please report back if you like it or not. I had not seen that on the IRA, but will read the links you provided! |

rileygirl, have you tried re-applying the BB several times during a day? What happens? Does it still look good? |

I have not tried that, RussianSunshine. I work indoors and most days am not outside for any extended time period, so I don't feel the need to apply more often. |

I have just emailed Tricia, she said the sample is on its way!

Talk about great customer service! I got an email back already. The woman, Tricia, said she signed up and posted on this thread, but I don't see it showing up yet, but she was unsure if she had posted correctly or not.
Anyway, I will copy part of the email for you all. Good luck to those who try it. I hope you love it as much as I do!
I basically wrote that we are in the process of revamping our website and we are going to be offering deluxe sample tubes of our tinted "5 in 1" face sunscreen and sample packets of our regular face sunscreen/primer for sale in about a week. In the interim, I'd be happy to mail some of the "posters" a sample if they email me (info@suntegrityskincare.com) their mailing address and indicate if they would like to try the regular face, light tint or medium tint sunscreen. |

Yes, Tricia is the best as far as customer service. Im intrigued with the supplements too.
I researched the red algae that this company uses when I was trying to make my own sunscreen and found it to be a good idea. It ups the UV protection without adding heavy physical block to it.
Please go to the website if you have not already and read the company mission. Its really inspiring. |

Hi Rileygirl, Are you still happy with this sunscreen? Have you had a chance to wear it out in the sun for longer periods and if so did it protect you from the sun? I'm thinking of ordering it. Thanks. |

Still using it and still loving it, Cookie! I have not had a chance to wear it longer in the sun, however, so I can't help you in that regard. This weekend I will be out doing yard work, so I will let you know how I get on at that time! |

Well after having read all this, my Buying finger just had to
I asked for the two samples Light and medium. What a lot you get for a sample I am gobbsmacked!
Anyway, I like both they seem quite similar in shade, and I think I shall probably need both for winter and summer. I have olive skin ( sometimes depending on which mirror i look in its dark, then light ,Go figure )
But just thought I had to post , I do like it, it goes on smoothly, lots of coverage, a lot goes a long way ( I always put too much on and end up looking leathery, I have to learn not to.)
I don't know about reapplication, yet.

Got my samples super quick! The colors look great. The darker one I gave to my DIL and I am going to try the lighter one. I have not had a chance yet, I have been sick with a summer cold (thanks to my adorable little niece who I would get sick for all over again ), but I think I will love them. The Revision I had been using started turning orange on me (thought it was the Clinique BB cream but it was not) so I have been looking for a new one to take its place.
It seems to have a good color and consistency, but for me it has to be worn a few days in order to gauge how well it stays on and doesn't turn or break me out.
Looking forward to getting out in the sun with it! |

I don't visit here often, but after reading Rileygirl's review (googling Suntegrity to see if others love it as much as I do!) I had to add my bit too.
Not only do I think this is an ace sunscreen, but I think it's a fabulous tint (I have been using the plain Suntegrity for a while) and I wouldn't be without this tinted stuff if you paid me.
This sunscreen/tint is fabulous. The texture is light and it goes on easily and leaves a soft, dewy finish, but it's not greasy looking. I have a medium sort of skin tone, I would say, and the light version is perfect. The medium makes me look as though I have a bit of a tan! But the light, I can really slap on if I want and it just looks so natural (I don't like foundation at all, I think it makes me look worse instead of better).
I think this stuff if FABULOUS, sunscreen or not.
Edited to add: I should have mentioned, I have always viewed facial sunscreens as horrid, but necessary, things and not always bothered with them, whilst knowing I should. This sunscreen has totally changed that; I look forward to using it. |

Cookie and Russiansunshine, good luck and keep us posted if you like it or not. Sylvia, so glad you like it so far! Annie, the Suntegrity actually reminds me of a light version of Revision. Hope it doesn't turn orange on you! Peaprincess, I agree. I look forward to using the Suntegrity also. It is a great finishing touch! |

I have not rec'd a sample yet. Is the coverage more like a foundation or like a tinted moisturizer ( <==which has no coverage)? |

Hi fawnie, it is more like a tinted moisturizer. |
Agree. It does not cover my redness, but it does leave my skin looking very healthy and even if that makes sense! |

I just got a sample of "light" and omg! What a nice BB cream. I'd say it covers more than a TM but less than a foundation... its a really nice BB cream (somewhere in between TM and fdtn).
Glides on nicely and leaves a nice glowy finish. Color blends in well on my light NC20 skin. Doesnt sink into fine lines or look caky or chalky. I wear it over a C serum and it feels v comfortable.
Will def buy the full size! |

Thanks for recommending this, rileygirl.
I ordered samples of all 3, and like them all!
I used it over the Reluma serum this morning. My face was shiny for a bit, but by the time I got to work the shine was gone.
(I have a terrible problem with shine - if I use a single product, I don't get shine, but if I layer products I always shine, no matter what. And anything with a sunscreen it in amps up the shine. It's a PITA! ) |

Initial review
I have used the bb cream in the light color for 3 days now. I really like the packaging (the pump) that the sunscreen comes in. The texture is very light and doesn't leave any white cast. It feels like you don't have anything on. I'm not sure about the sun protection yet because I haven't spent any real time in the sun since I have tried it. It does have 20% zinc so it should be good.
What I'm not sure of yet is the color and it does leave my skin a little shiny. It can be taking care of with powder but I don't wear any. I haven't had any problem with breakouts but it is something I will keep any eye on. Remember I have oily skin so this is always an area of concern for my skin.
How many pumps of sunscreen are people using? I might be putting to much on and that is why the color is a little off on my skin. |

Thank you girls. Ive just requested my sample the woman was lovely. She even offered to send me samples of the other products.
I noticed the bb has no scent, is the texture similar to the sunscreens? is it more elegant/silky? I really hope I like this ! |
