Hi, saw this new item online. It is a worldwide launch on www.theshoppingchannel.com
in Canada.
I did not see it live on TV. It sounds similar to Palovia , which I already have.
Price point is similar as well. Looks interesting. |

Sounds interesting. At first glance it seems similar to the Phillips ReAura laser but you use it every day for less time.(it may equal more time overall because you use it everyday as opposed to twice a week)I'm not sure which kind of laser it uses but it is a lot cheaper then ReAura. |

I already have the Palovia. I was interested in Phillips reaura, but being in Canada it is not sold here.
The tria is tempting, esp. on 5 easy-pays, lol!! |

I looked into the palovia but it got such bad reviews I never got one. I do like the ReAura but realize that it is not available a lot of places. It will be interesting to see the reviews on this new laser when it comes out. I was waiting for something to come out in the US but had the opportunity to get the ReAura this summer so I went for it. I will keep my eye on this new one to see how it compares. |

Not PQ but I do have the ReAura. I didn't see anywhere in the information about triabeauty what the power/watts etc. was but it says your should use it everyday for 8 weeks. Because you are only supposed to use the ReAura 2 times a week for 8 weeks I would think the ReAura laser is stronger. You also have to use a gel on your face while doing the ReAura treatment. There is no gel involved with the Tria Beauty. That to me is a nice thing but might mean that it is not a strong.
ReAura
Use 2 times a week for 8 weeks
3 power levels-level 1 just for practice
Use gel on face during treatment
Face divided into 3 areas
Each area takes 6 to 8 minutes(total time 18-24)
Available only in certain place in Europe curently
Based on Fraxel laser technology
Triabeauty
Use everyday for 8 weeks
3 power levels all usable
No product on face while doing treatment
Face divided into 4 zones
Each area time on face using different settings
Low-30 seconds
Medium-1 minute
High-up to 2 1/2 minutes
Total time on face(2-10 min)
Looks like it might be only available in Canada but I can't tell for sure???
Uses non-ablative fractional technology
30 day money back guarantee
The way both lasers are used looks very similar.
Triabeauty seems like it would be less powerful but it might all equal out because you use it more often. Total time a week with ReAura 48 minutes. With Triabeauty at the highest setting for 7 days would be 70 minutes. Really hard to say which is better until Triabeauty comes out.
ETA There is quite a big price difference between the two lasers ReAura I is 799 pounds while the Triabeauty is 495 Canadian dollars. |

I am not sure, I think we need someone on the forum to have one so we can get some feedback.

I just checked the TSC website, it says "in stock". Can't wait for reviews on this. It's definitely much cheaper than the ReAura |

Summer2004,
The key driver for the products I use are to completely block UVA and keep my skin hydrated, so my regime varies, depending on what I can find in TK Max, I find some amazing products up to 75% discounted, so at the moment I am using a SuperDrug Optimum Super Antioxidant SPF15 Day Cream and a basic 50 SPF sunblock over the top of this cream, I am using Oriflame Seeing is Believing eye cream, and I use my clarisonic with the DDF gentle cleansing foam before I shave. I am using the pro collagen night cream.

Tria results, which is good they are providing this sort of evidence, but there isn't a before and after picture:
http://www.triabeauty.ca/anti-aging-product-reviews
Comparison with Tria and ReAura/Palovia
http://www.triabeauty.ca/facial-treatment
Which isn't based on the specification, just the treatment protocol, they could have put a lot more effort into these web pages for a new device.

I'd like to know the power or joules (spelling?) The palovia states theirs and when I see "light" it makes me think of LED? |

Thanks daler and PQ. I guess I'll wait until the ReAura is available in Canada.

Just received my Tria. I am going to wait to start and use it for a month or so. (I have Botox/Restylane appt. mid Sept.).
I will wait a few weeks after appt. and everything has settled. I phoned Tria customer service regarding using Laser with botox, ect. Said to check with my Dr. |
