Why are synthetic ceramides more potent than natural ceramides? |

Synthetic are more likely to be skin-identical and each individual ceramide does have it's own distinct role. By natural are you thinking of the wheat ones or wool lipids or something else? |

By natural, I was referring to the ones that are found in such oils as rice bran oil, wheat germ oil, grapeseed oil, and walnut oil.
From what I've heard, ceramides are extremely beneficial to the skin and hair (and possibily the nails as well). |
