Hi
I've just gone through some of the 'dewy' skin threads, and found that the remedies were not effective for the majority of the individuals.
First off, after either you or someone else has waxed a particular part of your body, you'd notice that that the particular region becomes not only smooth, but also looks 'dewy'.
The key is quite simply utilizing the basic ingredient in wax, HEATED HONEY. In regard to sugar, which is also used in wax, I've personally never used it, so proceed with caution.
That said, take some honey, and heat it to the lukewarm temperature that you would normally for wax. Then afterwards, there are two different paths you can take:
1) Leave it on for about 10-15 mins on your face, and its recommended that you remain relaxed during this period (i.e. lying in bed/couch).
2) Probably a less popular approach, but to maintain a parallel with the waxing analogy, use a cotton strip (like the one's offered for waxing) and proceed removing the honey as such after leaving it in for 5mins.
You could always go beyond this basic regimen, such as adding a squeeze of lemon, or orange, or tomato juice, and even some egg white would be possible.

Also I should of said that this is nothing new, and has been around for some time, but its been overlooked recently.
The beauty of this remedy is that within 1-2 sessions, results are clearly evident. |
