Do you get positive results from silica?
What brand of silica do you take? |

My hair and nails have always grown like a weeds, so I don't notice that particular result from silica, but when I sold supplements, Biosil (orthosilicic acid form) was by far the form that I heard the most positive feedback on as far as hair growth, in terms of speeding it up. It's also a really well researched form of silica.
As far as hair loss, which I've had issues with due to autoimmune thyroid disease, fo-ti/he shou wu (Shen Min brand) has been helpful in halting and reversing hair shedding and helping it to fill back in. I've known people to have some reversal of gray hair after taking it for awhile. |

I have been applying silica topically - in the form of a tea rinse using horsetail. Too soon to tell results. |

Google it! Many members of the long hair forum use it with good results. |
