I love my oat beta glucans, yet I don't see much talk about them on EDS. I've been using them for about four months, maybe six, and my skin is so happy! I find it really helps with sensitivity and any need for tlc. I have reactive skin and test patch everything, and often get a rash. When the rash happens, I put on the oat beta glucans and the rash disappears within a minute or two. The glucans also help plump my skin and make my wrinkles less visible. They're also great if I've overly processed or picked my skin..they heal "extractions" better than anything else I've found.

I've purchase the oat beta glucan gel from Garden of Wisdom, and wanted to try the liquid form, which I purchased from NCN. Both versions work wonders on me. I don't dilute them, and use them before any serums or moisturizers, both morning and night. The gel gives a facelift effect, but can be difficult if you're wearing makeup. The liquid just soaks right in.

If you have irritated skin maybe oat beta glucans might be something you'd like to research.

If you've tried them, I'd love to hear your experience. For me, they're my favorite active.

Thanks girls!

That sounds really interesting - thank you! I'd never heard of them (but I remember oat baths being soothing!) and I've been using aloe recently to try to calm some redness - this sounds as though it may work.
Thanks again!

Hey AmazingLife,

It's great to hear that you are getting such awesome results Smile

I know that there are threads on this topic on EDS, which you might find helpful, as I remember searching for them myself. Have you done a search yet? I highly recommend doing searches before posting both to find old threads and to post in them to keep all the great info in one place (one thread).

AmazingLife,

I'm glad to hear that you like oat glucans so much. I've heard a lot of good things about them, especially about their health benefits.

One of the toners that I'm considering has beta glucans.

Seconded! Oy, so many similar/scattered threads these days!
