Do you prefer chemical suncreens over physical sunscreens?
Is one less irritating than the other? Is one more effective? |

I prefer zinc and titanium over chemical. I like that they sit on the surface of the skin and aren't absorbed. Zinc is very soothing to the skin, after all it is used in diaper rash ointment!
I cant speak to if physical is more effective but since I feel comfortable using physical over chemical, I will use it more consistantly.
No product helps if you leave it on the counter and don't use it! |

LauraLizzie,
You make a very interesting point. When I use physical sunscreens, I don't get any irritation at all.
I didn't even know that zinc oxide soothes stressed skin. |

Zinc is also in Jane Iredale makeup and that makes it extra fantastic. |

What is the difference between the two?
Which one do you suggest is more effective to protect the skin from brown/dark pigmentation?
That you don't have to apply every 2 hours????
