I make my gel and have been for years it works perfectly infact better than the real stuff.

I buy Glycerine from boots the chemist about 82pence a bottle.
I then buy gelatine I use tesco finest as it is very thin sheets.

The recipe will vary depending on the size of the pot you are going to use, I wash and reuse the stop pot.

I use about 1/4 of a sheet of gelatine I soak it in water for the five minuets to soften it.I measure the amount of Glycerine I need by pouring it in to my pot. I then warm the Glycerine in a glass jug or cup in the microwave. (use a really low setting)it gets hot quick. when it is warm enough I mix it with the gelatine make sure it is well mixed and disovled. I then pour it into my pot and leave it to set I turn it now and then just to keep mixing. How firm you want the mix is up to you I like it quite runny buy adding more gelatine it will set firmer and by adding less it will be softer. It works out about 20pence a pot. I hope this helps.

By the way I also use a microcurrent machine and make the Gel for that to by using water instead of Glycerine. It makes a great water based gel.
