Hi Everyone
Longtime lurker, first-time poster here.
I've been umm-ing and err-ing about mineral foundations for a long time, but finally took the plunge and ordered a couple of JI samples from Skin-etc, Warm Silk and Amber.
They just arrived today (very cute little pots!), and I haven't time to do more than swipe a little of each one on my jawline. They both seem to be close to my skin-colour, with Amber being the better match, but what surprised me was that Warm Silk seems to be slightly darker, or at least yellower-toned than Amber, both in the pot and on the skin. This is contrary to everything I'd read, so has anyone else compared the 2 colours and found that? |

I first used Warm Silk, but thought I needed the next darker shade so I bought Amber. It's definitely lighter and looked very chalky on me. I stuck with Warm Silk.

Thanks, Phredd, at least I know I'm not imagining it!
Seems odd though, I'm sure I heard Warm Silk was the lightest warm shade (before they brought out the new ones)? |
