I was wondering which the difference is between creams with fruit acids and the creams with aha..
I had a quite bad reaction with fruit acid but would aha creams be ok. What experience do you have with aha and do you have some recomendations regarding marks etc? |

hi, AHA's are derived from fruits, sugars and other plants. it is a gentle exfoliator. the most common AHA's are glycolic, lactic, malic, citric and tartaric acids. i don't know what you used but if you had a problem with one of these try a PHA (polyhydroxy acid) like gluconolactone or maybe a BHA (beta hydroxy acid) like salicyclic acid (good for acne prone skin), these are milder than AHA's. go to your cosmetic counter and ask a cosmetician. |
