Does anyone here stop using their retinoid during the winter? I am using Tazorac once a week and I use a natural exfoliating cleanser others nights. Would it be a smart idea to slowly stop the Tazorac since its getting colder? I sometimes get red and sensitive after using Tazorac once a week.
I plan to stick with my cleanser at night followed by a clear skin serum. I also use a enzyme mask once a week when I can work it in. I know some skin types suffer when stopping a retinoid so I am curious.
Thanks. |

No, I use it year round. However I think some may stop use in the summer months.
Go by how your skin feels. |

I use it more because there is much less sun in the American Midwest. I just make sure I use (more and better) hydrating cream in the AM. |

I use it all year round and tend to use it less in the summer, even though that is when I need it the most.
It can be drying, so there are times when I lightly pat my cream on top of it. |

I stopped using retinoids because I got tired of the flaking. I use copper peptides year round. |

Sometimes I get flaking, but using Clarisonic is enough to help. |

I have stopped RA while using the Tria but normally I use it more during the winter and cut back in summer. |
