I have finally got my routine in order & have found the products that really work for my skin. But I don't think doing all that I need to do for my issues.
Quick profile - 42 yrs old, oily, sensitive skin (I used to say super oily!), large pores on cheeks (thanks Dad!), rosacea on cheeks, chin, hyperpigmentation across forehead & on jawline.
Current routine - AM cleanse - Alpha Hydrox foaming face wash (love love love), Eucerin Daily Protection SPF 30 Moisturizing Face Lotion . PM - pre-cleanse: mineral oil, cleanse - Alpha Hydrox foaming face wash, every other night - Alpha Hydrox Enhanced Lotion 10% Glycolic AHA.
My questions....While I'm noticing a reduction in the oil on my face...do I need to add a glycolic acid peel or something similar to the Olay microdermabrasion kit to do either weekly or monthly to make sure I'm keeping that top layer of dead cells off? I've noticed in the last week that my face no longer tingles after I put on the glycolic lotion, does that mean I need to start using it every day now? Would it be ok to use this on my areas of hyperpigmentation daily? If not this, is there something better I could use?
Ladies, thank you so much in advance for all of you input and guidance... |
