Yes but make sure you always wear sunscreen otherwise it could become ageing! Start with the lowest dose and then increase as time goes on. |

Retin-A is applied only at night-time, not during the day... If you are not familiar with it, use the lowest dosage until your skin adapts to it. Wear sunscreen of at least 30 SPF when going outside. |

oh great, thank you, because I got all confused reading forums, too much information to go through. I will start with tretinoin cream 0.025% at night. Should I apply it all over my face or only forehead and such? Do you think it will change my skin color ( I am fair - medium white) ? someone offered me to buy Aziderm ( Azelaic Acid cream 10%) do you guys know what it is? SPF 30 minimum? so my regular Colorecience makeup wouldn't be enough? Does anyone know good foundation with SPF 30? Because its too much product - SPF, then makeup... |

You apply Retin-A all over the face would be best. I don't think it will change your color using Retin-A.
I can not comment on Azelaic 10% acid cream as I have not used it.
One thing to consider as well, do weekly low-dosage exfoliation, say 5% strengths. One drugstore find is Neostrata smoothing cream 5% (or 10% if you wish) to start. This will exfoliate your old skin and generates new skin to the surface.... Just remember, let your skin dictates if you can handle more strengths and go by that.
If you go to Walmart or any drugstores/supermarkets, you can use Neutrogena sunscreen, different strengths available on the market. SPF 30 or more would be ideal.
Yes, I do the same-- sunscreen and then makeup but my skin is well protected. I know it is a chore sometimes, but I do it religiously because it is necessary to protect my skin. I will never go out without a sunscreen!
