I need help with measuring, quantities based on what I have gathered:
My ingredients are:
-Aloe Vera gel leaf
-Rice Bran Oil
-Carrot Seed Oil
-Red Raspberry Oil
-Micronized zinc oxide
The base will be the aloe vera leaf gel with rosemary drops poured into an 8 oz blue cobalt plastic bottle.
What will be the best/perfect quantity and measuring amount for all those ingredients based on 8oz bottle? preferable in ounces and spoons(teaspoons-tablespoons...)
Thank You for all the help you can provide! |

I make my own sunscreen as well, though this practice is usually frowned upon because it is a drug. (I'm sure you already knew that. Just throwing it out there.)
You're going to need some kind of emulsifier for this, or the oils will float to the top of the aloe gel. You can use anything you have on hand, really. BTMS works well for me. |

Do I really need an emulsifying wax to bond gel and oils? I thought gels, specially directly from the aloe vera leaf can bond very well without an emulsifying wax? |
